Let me begin with my tale of woe. I was SUPPOSED to get this book free for an honest review but I have been very ill for a month now and apparently lost quite a few brain cells in the process. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I have noticed a few senior moments before I got sick but... LOL) Anyhoo...I messed up the download but I had said I would review the book so I paid the whole $.99 and here goes. I am a voracious reader of all sorts of genres but I love paranormal romance. I was worried at first because I hate starting in the middle of a series and I also have a weird mental heebie jeebie thing about first person point of view stories. Having said that, I really enjoyed this story. Being a short story there isn't time to bring in other members of the series much less flesh out the mains but I really got into it. There is somewhat explicit sex but that isn't what the story is about like so many short stories seem to be lately. I felt like I got to know the couple in the short time I hung out with them and will be checking out the rest of the series. So, there is my honest review. Apologies to Amy Lamont for the download problems which were all on me and in no way her fault.Product details

This was such a fun quick read by Amy Lamont
An AMAZING Christmas read.
Ivy is a strong woman, who is finally able to care of herself. Ivey’s special abilities are becoming stronger. Her father is forcing her to use her abilities for his financial gains. Ivy has been used by her father all her life.
Cole's security company has been hired to find Ivy. Ivy had a premonition of the man of her dreams. Cole and Ivy had great chemistry.
I highly recommend it! It’s a perfect read for the Christmas season.
Although I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book, it doesn't change or detract from this well written story. I'm not one to regurgitate the story line or give away so as to spoil the journey. With that in mind, it's a quick read, with interesting characters and lots of palatable chemistry and suspense. All characteristics that move along the plot with good momentum. I found this to be a worth wild endeavor, enjoying the time I spent with Ivy and Cole finding themselves and each other. I intend to read more of Amy's series, and recommend that others consider doing so as well.
Bear for Christmas was two books. The first was the Bear and the second was the Billionaire. The Bear story was good. I liked the plot and the hea, even tho it would have been nice if it was just a little longer. What I didn’t like about the Billionaire story was that the h was a dish rag. Not only did she continue to say she wasn’t worthy of any man she acted like she wasn’t - all the time. I wish the author gave her a little more backbone. This girl had none. The writing was good and I enjoyed the story which led to the couple getting together but geez, give me a break and put some teeth in that girl
I can not imagine what it was like for Ivy to be betrayed by her flesh and blood her father. Now she finds herself on the run from her crazy selfish father.
I like that Cole was able to tell just by the photo that Ivy was his mate. Though he was hired to find her and take her back to her father he felt there was more to the story then met the eye.
I love how Ivy brought Christmas into Cole’s life. But when you think everything is going right things take a turn for the worse.
This was a great story and glad I got a chance to read it.

Love this book funny and sexy exciting and warm just my kind of book Michelle
Cole is a specialist in bounty hunting, it helps that he's bear shifter but when he starts hunting Ivy an as he gets closehes bear is getting harder to control . the papers in the file he hads says Ivy has severe mental issues but the truth is Ivy is psychic an her powers are only getting stronger . when she meets Cole she can't read him. Like she has been able to do with everyone else. Ivy is running from her father, who I doesn't know how powerful Ivyspoiwers are now that she's an adult. Will Ivy and Cole find love together?Will Ivy's vision scare her away from Cole because of a half of vision she had? Will Cole be able to keep his one true mateaway from her father and will they find happiness together? This is another great Kodiak den story. I voluntarily decided to review this advance reader copy because I truely enjoyed the book and know anyone that loves shifter stories will love it too.
This is one great story of finding out what you have known all your life is an illusion. Who can you trust and how far can you run? This is the situation Ivy finds herself in.
Having learned the truth about her father and why he has kept her isolated she runs away. Now she must learn how to outwit the hunters her father sends after her. She ends up in Kodiak, Alaska eating in a dinner. When she meets Cole who is a bond enforcer for Ursus Security Solutions.
Cole is a werebear who has been hired by her father to return her. There is two problems with this assignment the biggest being she is his mate.
The second is that she does not seem to have the issues that he was given for why she is an assignment. After returning to Kodiak to check in with the office Ivy drops right into his lap when he isn't looking.
Will he figure out why her father wants her back? Will Ivy's secret keep her safe? Will he convince her to trust him? Will she be able to use her secret to keep her out of the hunter's hands?
